Summary

A woman from Scotland, while traveling in Colombia, begins to notice strange sounds. Soon she begins to think about their appearance.

It had its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival on July 15, 2021.

Director

Apichatpong Weerasethakul is recognized as one of the most original voices in contemporary cinema. He began making films and video shorts in 1994 and completed his first feature in 2000. He directed six feature films, short films and installations which won him widespread international recognition and numerous awards, including the Cannes Palme d’Or (Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives). He has also mounted exhibitions and installations in many countries since 1998 and is now recognized as a major international visual artist.
